The Taiko-dori exit, which is close to the Shinkansen ticket gates at Nagoya Station, is an area with Bic Camera, cram schools, budget hotels for backpackers, and izakayas.
And, near the Taiko-dori exit, I found "Makino Park", a spacious park, so I'd like to introduce it to you!
To get to Makino Park, go past the Toyoko Inn from the Taiko-dori exit and head towards Makino Elementary School.

You'll come to a path like this, so go straight. Makino Elementary School will be on your right.

You've arrived at the entrance to Makino Park.

Wow! Such a spacious park near Nagoya Station!?

It's also equipped with playground equipment like swings, slides, and seesaws.
There are also restrooms, so it seems like a good place to let your children play near Nagoya Station.

And there were six three-seater benches installed!
These are "Nobinobi Benches," and the backs are curved, so you can stretch your back.
Gooood.

The ground is gravel, and there's enough space for children to run around.
And there were also four similar benches on the Makino Elementary School side.
It seems like a good place to eat lunch near Nagoya Station.

The slide is integrated with the playground equipment and is kept relatively clean.

There were also four swings.
Two of them are the kind you can sit on, so even small children can play safely.
Honestly, I wasn't expecting much since it's on the Taiko-dori exit side, but it was a cleaner and more spacious park than I imagined.
I think it's a great place to take a break in the park or to let your children play as a family!
So, why not try using it as a place to sit and rest in Nagoya?
