The Fushimi area is Nagoya's business district.
Near Fushimi Station on the Subway Higashiyama Line and Tsurumai Line, we discovered a spacious park that seems like an oasis in the city!

It's called "Shimozono Park," and it looks like there's a gazebo there!
To get to Shimozono Park, take Nishiki-dori from Fushimi Station and you'll find it right in front of the Nagoya Kanko Hotel. It's close to Nagoya City Misono Elementary School.

Shimozono Park is an oasis surrounded by greenery.
The park is enclosed by stone walls and planting, and the ground is covered with gravel.
It's great, isn't it? It seems like a nice place for salarymen and office ladies to relax here during their lunch break♪

And in Shimozono Park, there are benches for two people.
There's a Lawson convenience store nearby, so it's convenient as a place to eat your Fushimi lunch boxes!

When you go towards Fushimi-dori, there's a place that looks like a Japanese garden.
This is another healing spot.

There was a stone table in the gazebo. It's a place where you can take a break and avoid direct sunlight, so it seems to be popular with office ladies (lol)
It seems like it could be used for a small picnic with the family too.

There was mini playground equipment near the elementary school.
Small children can play here!

It was an oasis in the city, surrounded by buildings.
So, why not try using it as a resting place in Nagoya?
