Have you heard of the cherry blossom trees along the Meguro River?
The Meguro River is located near Nakameguro Station, and it's the perfect spot for cherry blossom viewing and a relaxing stroll!
Let's head towards Komazawa-dori along the Meguro River.

As you walk along the path, you'll see Nitori with its chic exterior. (It's not the usual green Nitori!)
Cross the pedestrian bridge or the intersection nearby and continue straight along the Meguro River.

You'll then come to an area with a wide river. On your right is a charming plaza called "Meguro River Funairiba."
If you're interested in Funairiba, check out the following!
This time, let's proceed along the path on the left.

As you stroll along the river, you'll find a rest area at a T-junction in the residential area!
"Oh, this is a great spot to take a break while enjoying the view of the Meguro River!"

There are two benches for two people each.
The planting extends out, making the rest space a bit narrow, or rather, compact.

This is pretty nice, isn't it? It seems like you could get a lot done while reading a book while looking at the Meguro River♪
In front of you is Funairiba, which used to be a port for ships.
Let's keep this in mind as a break spot for your walk along the Meguro River.
...Actually, there's a lovely rest area just a little further along, so please visit it!
So, why not use these spots as places to take a break in Nakameguro?
