I finally got to do some research in Nakameguro! It's in Nakameguro, along the Tokyu Toyoko Line and the Hibiya Line (the first train stop).
Underneath the elevated tracks from Nakameguro Station towards Yutenji, you'll find a string of stylish bars and unique restaurants.
The official website is "Nakameguro Elevated," but I wonder why they don't call it "Under the Tracks"!?
Maybe because it would give it a vibe like Shimbashi??

Now, if you stroll along the elevated tracks from the west exit of Nakameguro Station, you'll come across a building that looks a bit like a ruin (sorry!).

This is "ex. flower shop & laboratory NAKAMEGURO," a flower shop that also has stores in Kuramae.
The interior of the shop is lovely, so flower lovers should definitely check it out!
And then, there's a path that looks like a greenway nearby.
This is the famous Jakuzuregawa Greenway!

It's been turned into a culvert, and a path has been developed as a greenway for a while.
And, if you head towards Sangenjaya and the JGSDF Misawa Garrison from the flower shop...
I found a place where you can sit and take a break!

There were three two-seater wooden benches under a slightly rusty pergola-like structure.
It seems like it would be a nice resting area like a garden if ivy could grow well.
What's distinctive is that, as you can see from the guardrails at the top, there's a difference in height on the path along the greenway.
I wonder if it used to be a river in the shape of a moat.

As for the benches, they are standard benches that you often see in parks, with no particular features.
I think it's a good place to take a break while strolling along the Jakuzuregawa River from Nakameguro!
The name "Jakuzuregawa" seems like it could be adopted for the last name of an anime character.
By the way, what is the origin of Jakuzuregawa? This is introduced in the following article.
So, why not use it as a place to take a break in Nakameguro?
