The south exit area of Niigata Station has been beautifully renovated, thanks to the elevated track construction.
The south exit features Praka 1, 2, and 3, which combine shopping and offices, as well as Bic Camera, making it a more relaxed area compared to the opposite Bandai exit.
I came to Niigata Station for work and was looking for a place to sit down!
So, I took a stroll around the south exit.
It seems that Praka, which occupies the south exit, has three locations, and I decided to check out number 3 this time.

Oh, there are stools where you can sit and take a break right in front of the entrance to Praka 3!
The circular stone pavement is the landmark.

The stone stools are made of stone pavement. The surface is polished smooth, so it seems like a comfortable place to sit.
There's plenty of space in front of the bench, so you can probably relax and take a break if it's not completely full.
Praka 3 has a 100-yen shop called Seria, so how about taking a break while you're shopping?
Also, be sure to check out the "Niigata Station South Exit Square" in front of the station, where there are many benches!
So, why not try using these places as rest areas where you can sit down around Niigata Station?
