Niiza Station on the Musashino Line has a north exit and a south exit. The south exit area, which leads to Route 254 and Shiki Kaido, is bustling with commercial facilities and restaurants.
Buses to Rikkyo University Niiza Campus also depart from the south exit.
And, there's a place to sit and rest in the plaza with the bus rotary after exiting the south exit.

Many rectangular stone benches are installed here.
The upper part has a multi-layered roof, and there are places to sit around the pillars.
Approximately 4 people can sit at one place.
The Niiza Station police box is nearby, so you can rest assured about safety.

This is a bench located after walking towards Jonathan's McDonald's from the station rotary.
There's a bus stop exclusively for Rikkyo University Niiza Campus nearby, and the line of Rikkyo University students waiting for the bus extends from in front of Niiza Station.
I was observing the bus line while sitting on the bench, and it seemed that no one was left behind.
However, it was late July, so it might have been affected by the fact that the lectures were sparse due to the test period.

Unlike near the station, triangular benches were placed here.
The seating comfort is quite normal, but it's convenient when you want to meet someone in front of Niiza Station.
It's an environment where you can rest without getting wet in the rain if you choose the right spot.
As an aside, when taking the bus towards Shiki or Kiyose, it's a good idea to allow plenty of time because Shiki Kaido is very congested.
Shiki Kaido is narrow with only one lane on each side..., and there's a traffic jam from around the Shimokiyodo intersection.
Also, if you want to take a break with your family with children near Niiza Station, or if you want to eat a Niiza lunchbox, "Niiza Station South Exit Park" is recommended, so please stop by!
So, why not use these places as rest areas around Niiza Station?
