「Long and Narrow Park」

 

From Nishi-Oi Station, you'll find Nishi-Oi Hiroba Park along the Tachiai Road.

There are also places to sit around the objects in front of the station, and you can enjoy watching the Tokaido Shinkansen (bullet train) on the elevated tracks from here.

 

As you go further up, you'll find a nice pergola and benches in a flower bed.

 

I took out some dango (sweet rice dumplings) I bought in Nakanobu and ate them here ♪

 

If you go further towards Oimachi, there's also a slide playground.

 

There are also restrooms.

 

Also, there's a very large park right next door, so please check it out if it's crowded.

 

So, why not use this park as a resting spot around Nishi-Oi Station?
