At the Odawara Station East Exit underground shopping center, you'll find HaRuNe. It's like a HaRuNe version of ReRaKu.
The name "HaRuNe" comes from "roots spreading out in Odawara." It was a bit of a surprise to me!
To get to HaRuNe, you can access it from the under the pedestrian deck at the Odawara Station East Exit.

It was renovated and reopened in Heisei 26, so the inside of HaRuNe is clean and bright, and it doesn't give you the impression of being an underground shopping center at first glance.
The rest area I'll introduce this time is "HaRuNe Square," located on the right side of the floor guide. It's near Nanohana Village and the deli shops.

There are about 15 tables with seating for four people at HaRuNe Square.
It's a large rest space near Odawara Station! It seems that it is sometimes used as an event space, which is unique to HaRuNe, which is conscious of local community activities.

It's a wooden table for four people, perfect for families with children and groups to take a break.
There are shops selling side dishes and sweets nearby, so it's a good place to eat what you've purchased at HaRuNe.

As a note for using the rest area, drinking alcohol is prohibited.

It's convenient to remember this place as a place where you can eat your Odawara lunch box.
It's also recommended when you want to adjust your time or plan your trip in Odawara sightseeing. There is also a tourist information center near the information counter♪
There are other rest areas in HaRuNe, so be sure to check them out during busy times!
The rooftop garden of the adjacent LUSCA is also a green oasis in the city, and it's a great recommendation.
So, why not use it as a place to sit and rest near Odawara Station while you're shopping at HaRuNe?
