Tourist attractions like Odawara Castle, along with restaurants and the shopping streets, are concentrated in the east exit area of Odawara Station.
The Ohoribata-dori Street, which we'll be introducing this time, can be accessed from the east exit by passing through the pedestrian deck and then from the Nishiki-dori Entrance intersection.
You probably won't get lost because there are signs that say something like "Odawara Castle is here."

And, if you go straight along Ohoribata-dori Street toward Odawara Castle, you'll find places where you can sit and take a break scattered along the sidewalk!
There were benches that seat three people lined up along the sidewalk.
Since you'll be walking quite a bit to get to Odawara Castle, these are convenient places to take a little rest ♪

From the benches, you can enjoy the scenery of Odawara Castle's moat at your leisure.
The red bridge you see in the distance is "Gakkyo." It seems that it was named as a bridge for commuting to school because there used to be a prefectural high school and an elementary school across the bridge.
There are also red bridges around Odawara Castle, and it seems there are three in total.
There are also benches near the Umadashimon Gate, so be sure to remember them as rest spots when you're sightseeing around Odawara Castle.
So, why not use these spots as resting places near Odawara Castle?
