On the north side of Oji Station, along Kita-hon Street, there's a multi-cultural complex called "Kitatopia," a 17-story building.
Speaking of landmarks in Oji, the south side is "Sun Square" and the north side is "Kitatopia!"
By the way, I didn't know how to pronounce it and said "Kitatopia!" and got stared at by everyone (lol).
Now, how to get to Kitatopia is from the bus rotary at the north exit of Oji Station, head towards Mizuho Bank and Pronto.

If you take the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, Exit 5 is directly connected to Kitatopia, so it's easy to get there. Of course, you can also access it from the Toden Arakawa Line (tram).
You'll see a high-rise building as you walk towards Kita-hon Street, so you'll know it right away!

Ta-da! The building had quite an impact. After all, it was the tallest high-rise building in Kita Ward when it was first completed.
The building has several large halls, and I saw many people using them, especially on weekends and holidays.
Now, let's go to the observation lobby on the top floor of Kitatopia, the 17th floor!
To get to the observation lobby, there are two types of elevators in the building, one for the lower floors and one for the higher floors, so use the one for the higher floors.

When you get off the elevator and walk a little, the observation space comes into view!
Perhaps because it was Sunday, many people were enjoying the night view.

It's the night view on the Oji Station side! It's quite enjoyable as a free observation deck in Tokyo!
What's amazing is... these 3 points!
- You can enjoy the view of Asukayama Park in full bloom with cherry blossoms in spring!
- There are no high-rise buildings around, so you can see far and wide.
- You can see the Shinkansen from above!!
Isn't it wonderful to be able to see the JR lines and Shinkansen tracks!? If you're a family with children, your kids will definitely be happy.

There is also an observation space a little further from the area mentioned earlier.
There are benches and single chairs, so the point is that you can relax and enjoy the scenery of Tokyo while sitting and taking a break!
I think the benches on the observation deck are great because they are often set away from the windows, so the observation lobby in Oji is excellent.

The observation deck of Kitatopia offers a panoramic view of the east, west, and south sides.
You can also see the Skytree up close, so it's a good idea to visit it as a tourist spot in Tokyo!

Further along the floor, there is a space where you can see the scenery of Saitama Shintoshin.
As you move away from the elevator, there are fewer people, so I think it can also be used as a date spot in Oji!
When there's a telescope, I end up looking through it... is it just me, Pen-ta? (lol)
Oh, the observation deck is free, but the telescope is paid!

The shining Toyoko Inn!! Speaking of which, my Toyoko Inn point card is about to expire soon...
Even so, don't you think the view is good for the 17th floor??
There's nothing to obstruct the view, so you can see far away if the weather is clear.
By the way, the observation deck is open quite late, from 8:30 to 22:00!
I recommend the Kitatopia observation deck as a place to go out in Oji.
Of course, there are also places where you can sit and take a break, so I think it's a good idea to visit and take a break.
Also, if you are looking for a place to eat lunch boxes in Oji or a large rest area, please visit the rooftop garden on the 5th floor!
So, why not use it as a place to enjoy the night view and go out in Oji?
