Omiya Center Building is a 14-story office building, and it's famous for having TOMIX, a model railway shop, as a tenant on the 1st floor.
To get to Omiya Center Building, exit the West Exit of Omiya Station and proceed on the pedestrian deck towards Sogo.
You'll see it after passing Sogo and Bic Camera and turning the corner at the FamilyMart.

After passing the parking lot of Sogo and Bic Camera, you'll see TOMIX on your right.
They also offer a model train experience, so if you're a train enthusiast, I recommend you check it out!
And, there's a place to sit and take a break in the plaza (public open space) next to the Omiya Center Building.

There are two sets of benches that can seat 14 people each.
The benches are arranged to surround the planting, and there's plenty of space, so you can sit and relax.
It's also a great place to eat your lunch from Omiya, and it's convenient for families to take a break.

Bic Camera is nearby, so it seems like a good spot to take a break after shopping.
The back side of the T-junction is a pachinko parlor, but there is Omiya Prep School and Omiya Daycare Center near the rest area.
Therefore, the surroundings of the rest area are not bad, and there are many seats, so it gave the impression that it was suitable for taking a break.
So, why not try using it as a place to take a break around Omiya?
