Lumine Omiya has two locations: Lumine 1, which is on the Tobu Urban Park Line side, and Lumine 2, on the Shinkansen side.
Today, we'll be introducing a great place to relax in Lumine 2.
Lumine 2 is located right near the Central Ticket Gate of Omiya Station.

The 4th floor of Lumine 2 is mainly home to restaurants and Uniqlo, and in the center is a rooftop garden called "Green Peace Garden."
The operating hours of the rooftop garden vary depending on the season, from April to September, it's open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and from October to March, it's open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
There's an entrance to the rooftop garden next to the Aloha Table restaurant, with a sign posted.
When I visited during the Obon period, it was open until 5:00 PM. Also, the rooftop garden is non-smoking.
Before 11:00 AM, I was looking for a place to take a break inside Lumine, and I went to the garden as soon as it opened!

"Wait...is this on top of the Omiya Station building?" I couldn't help but mutter with a smile.
さすがLumine. They've wonderfully transformed the rooftop of a commercial facility, which can often be bleak, into a green and garden-like space.
The grassy area looks like a great place to stroll around with kids!
Walking along the wooden deck, there was a pergola equipped with a misting shower.
They've created a way to stay cool in the garden even in the scorching heat!
And, if you go through here, you'll see a place where you can sit and take a break!
There were 2 sets of tables with parasols for 4 people, and 1 wooden bench for 3 people.
This is great!
Since there are tables, it's a perfect place to eat your lunch from Omiya, and it's also ideal for families to take a break!
The parasols are great for avoiding direct sunlight while you rest.
You can also enjoy the view of the east exit of Omiya Station through the fence ♪

A perfect space for children to play. If the weather is nice, you might even be able to have a picnic with a simple sheet!
And in the grassy area, there were 6 wooden benches for 3 people.
With a wooden deck at your feet and a spacious area, you can relax and take a break.
The area resembling Spanish steps in the back seems to be closed.
Let's take a leisurely break while looking out at the east exit of Omiya Station.
It should also be a great spot for a date in Omiya!!

This felt like a return to reality, with the kind of rooftop view you often see 笑
Also, there were table seats at the entrance of the garden, but since there was a rope, it might be the outdoor seating area of the Western-style restaurant next door.
In any case, it's nice to have a relaxing spot like this so close to Omiya Station.
It's right up the elevator from the Central Ticket Gate, so it's also good for sightseeing and dates!
It's also convenient when you're thinking, "Where can I eat lunch in Omiya?"
By the way, there's also the "Lumine 2 5F Rooftop", but since most of the space is a sports club, the 4F that I introduced in this article is recommended!
