To get to the moving walkway that leads to Minato Mirai, exit the north ticket gate of Sakuragicho Station and go up the escalators on the left side of Colette Mare.
Along the moving walkway, there are stairs that lead to Sakura-dori street in front of Queens Square and the Nippon Maru Memorial Park.
There are rest areas with seating at the bottom of the stairs and along Sakura-dori street.

There are two 3-seater iron benches on the Nippon Maru side and three similar benches along Sakura-dori street.
On the Nippon Maru side, you can get a close-up view of the ship and see its entire form.
There are vending machines nearby, so it seems convenient if you want to take a break outdoors with a lunch or snacks between Sakuragicho and Minato Mirai.
However, there's a surprisingly large flow of people heading to Queens Square via the stairs from the moving walkway, so it might not be the most relaxing spot.
Why not give these spots a try as a place to sit and relax around Sakuragicho, Minato Mirai, and Nippon Maru?
