To get to Setagaya Maruyama Park, head towards the Kan-nana-dori (Ring Route 7) from "Setagaya-dori Street," which faces the Carrot Tower near Sangenjaya Station.
Walk past the Carrot Tower, and continue straight towards Pet Shop Kojima and MOS Burger, and you'll see the "Taishido 4-chome Intersection."
Turn at the intersection and walk towards the Setagaya Police Station and the Setagaya Fire Station, and you'll find Maruyama Park on your right.
Inside Maruyama Park, there are playground equipment for children to enjoy and places to sit and rest.

I thought it was a fairly spacious park, considering it's accessible from the station.
Nearby, there's a walking path called "Jakuzuregawa Ryokudo," and the park and the green path together create an area rich in nature.
Benches are lined up along the perimeter of the park.

There are also benches placed in the shade like these.
When I visited, the temperature exceeded 30°C (86°F), but it felt cool when I went into the shade.
It's a convenient place to take a break when strolling around Sangenjaya.

There were six two-seater wooden benches installed.
The appearance is what you'd expect from a park bench, but the seating comfort is not bad, and it's perfect for a break.
There's an armrest in the middle of the bench, making it suitable for reading too!

It's a surprisingly laid-back park, and overall, it's peaceful.
It's a great place to relax and take a break when you're around Sangenjaya.
The playground equipment includes slides, swings, a small artificial hill, iron bars, and a sandbox.
There are also restrooms, so it's a park that has all the basic facilities.
It's not cramped, and children can play freely.
The slide on the small hill... looked like fun.
(Of course, Manager Pen-ta couldn't play, haha)
By the way, I had lunch at "," an Okinawan restaurant near Maruyama Park.
The Soki & Rafute set meal is irresistible... I'll be back for more, haha.
Also, when you visit this park, you might want to check out the "benches of Jakuzuregawa Ryokudo" as well, so you can further enjoy bench life.
So, why not try using it as a resting spot around Sangenjaya Station?
