You'll find "Sendagi 3-chome Children's Playground" in the alley from Shinobazu-dori Street at the Sendagi 3-chome intersection towards Yanaka Ginza.
A good landmark is the Sakura Hotel Nippori, which is nearby.

I happened to find it on my way back from Yanaka Ginza, so these photos are of the playground at night.
The playground is tucked away in an area surrounded by residential areas and shops.

It's a children's playground, so it's not very big, but I was impressed that it was surprisingly well-equipped with swings and a slide.

And there are benches in Sendagi 3-chome Children's Playground where you can sit and take a break.
The benches have a height difference as if they're growing from the ground. They're designed to be easy to use even for children with a low height, and you often see them in children's playgrounds, don't you?

The koala is saying, "Let's play!"
The koala's lonely back has a touch of melancholy.

If you use it during the day, it's a bright children's playground, so it's convenient to remember it as a rest area in Yanaka Ginza.
You can use it as a bench to eat when you buy side dishes like menchi-katsu and yakitori, or sweets in Yanaka Ginza.

"Your chair is waiting for you"
A wonderful phrase that suits this site. This is the sign of the Urata Barber Shop on the street in front of the children's playground.
So, why not use it as a place to take a break near Yanaka Ginza and Sendagi Station?
