Donguri Hiroba Park is a quiet park nestled in a residential area, making it a perfect spot to take a break from sightseeing and shopping in Shimokitazawa.
To get to Donguri Hiroba Park, go straight from the north exit of Shimokitazawa Station, past Ozeki, through the "Shimokitazawa Ichibangai Gate."
Then, follow the path between "Kakigori-ya Kawakyu" and "Men to Mirai," and you'll find the park on your left.

The park suddenly appears as you stroll through the residential area.
At the entrance of "Donguri Hiroba Park," a charming name, you'll find an information board about acorns, making it a park all about acorns.

The first impression is that there are many large trees for a residential area.
While walking along Shimokitazawa Ichibangai, I couldn't have imagined that there was such a park nearby.

There were two wooden benches for two people each at the base of the trees.
Is this a relatively new park? The benches were clean, making it perfect for a break in Shimokitazawa.

I visited during a three-day weekend in late September, and it was quiet with no one around.
The area around the Keio and Odakyu ticket gates near Shimokitazawa Station is crowded, and the roads are narrow, right?
I was quite tired from being near the station, but here, I could take a breather.
It was a very comfortable spot to relax and take a break.

There were no large playground equipment like slides, but there were two spring-mounted toys.
There were also four small benches for one person each.
Not only the benches, but the entire park was beautifully maintained, so keep it in mind if you want to take a break with your family in Shimokitazawa!

The "eating lunch in Shimokitazawa" is also possible here.
There are no drinking fountains or public restrooms, but when you're tired from the crowds of Shimokitazawa, take a break at Donguri Hiroba Park!
Also, if you're in Shimokitazawa, " Kitazawa Town Hall Rooftop Garden" is also quite comfortable, so please stop by!
So, why not use it as a resting place while you're sightseeing or shopping in Shimokitazawa?
