Suica's Penguin Plaza is a terrace adjacent to the Shinjuku Station ticket gates and the Busta Shinjuku bus terminal, featuring a plaza with a golden penguin statue.
To get to Suica's Penguin Plaza, head towards the JR New South Ticket Gate!
Follow the signs in the station that say "Southern Terrace," "Miraina Tower Ticket Gate," and "Koshu Kaido Ticket Gate."
Be careful not to go out the wrong exit, like the East Exit or the West Exit, as you might get lost!

You can access it from inside the station by exiting this New South Ticket Gate!
There's a large sign that clearly says "New South Ticket Gate," so it should be easy to find.
Then, go straight after exiting the ticket gate, and you'll arrive at Suica's Penguin Plaza.

There's a cute sign with Suica's Penguin (Suipen-chan).
And in the plaza, there's a golden Suica Penguin statue, and there are places around the deck where you can sit and take a break!

There are benches and tables, so you can even do remote work (Nomad/Remote work) in Shinjuku Station.
Although it's located above the station concourse, there's plenty of greenery and an open feeling, even in Shinjuku!
Above all, it's close to the ticket gates of Shinjuku Station, making it convenient for meeting up or when you want to eat your lunch♪
You can enjoy the view of the Shinjuku Station platforms through the glass-paneled area in the rest space.
If you have kids who love trains, they'll surely be delighted!
And that's not all!

You can enjoy the illuminations of the NTT Docomo Yoyogi Building, which resembles the Empire State Building, and the night view of Times Square♪
I think it's also recommended as a date spot in Shinjuku because you can enjoy the night view of Shinjuku for free!
※This photo was taken from the "Busta Shinjuku 3F High-speed Bus Arrival Deck," but you can enjoy a similar view from the Penguin Plaza.
Also, if the sunlight is strong or if it's raining, we recommend the rest space at "NEWoMan 2F Station Concourse" nearby!
So, why not use it as a resting place with seating around Shinjuku?
