To get to Shinjuku Monolith, go straight towards the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, passing the drinking street in front of Book Off in the west exit, then passing the Yodobashi Camera East Building and Travel Building.
Cross the intersection and proceed for a while, and you'll see it near the downhill slope next to the Keio Plaza Hotel.
And, if you proceed from the middle of the downhill slope towards the main entrance of the Shinjuku Monolith building, there is a resting place in the plaza in front of the building where you can sit.
*A public open space is a type of open space that can be freely passed through and used.

There are two 8-seater stone benches.
The Shinjuku West Exit area has a lot of public open spaces, and this resting place is also a large resting space where you can relax.
It's nice to have plenty of legroom, isn't it?
Also, the combination of planting and concrete in front of Shinjuku Monolith is great, so you can take a break on a bench in the shade of trees, even though you are in the city center.
You can also read a book depending on the season, and it was a comfortable resting place.

Regarding the congestion situation, I checked on weekends and holidays, and there was only one user.
It seems that office workers may use it on weekdays, but it didn't seem to be very crowded.
FamilyMart is located on the B1F of the Shinjuku Monolith building, so you can get drinks and lunch boxes nearby.
It's also a good place to eat lunch boxes in the Shinjuku West Exit area.
Also, there is a "table seat on the 1st floor of Shinjuku Monolith" in the building, so please stop by.
Why not use Shinjuku Monolith or use it as a resting place to sit down near Shinjuku?
