To get to Shinjuku Nomura Building, go along Aomi Street from the rotary at Shinjuku West Exit or "Shinjuku Dai-Gado West" towards Nishi-Shinjuku. You'll find it in front of the Shinjuku Police Station.
Shinjuku Nomura Building is an office building with restaurants like Subway and Doutor as tenants.
And, there's a seating area behind the escalators near Daiso and Kusuri no Ryuseido on the B2F of Shinjuku Nomura Building.

There are 7 sets of two-seater tables.
"Wow, there are table seats here!?" was my initial impression.
You can't see the tables from the outside, they're hidden in a spot behind the escalators.
This is a hidden gem for desk work or remote work in Shinjuku.
Especially behind the escalator, you can almost shut yourself off from the outside world, making it a relaxing place to sit.
Regarding the congestion, I checked on weekends and holidays, and there were only two people using the tables.
There may be many office workers on weekdays, but since there are surprisingly many seats, it seems unlikely to be full, especially on holidays.
Since you're here, here are some photos of the table seats.

The chairs have a mesh structure, with simple, thin iron frames for the legs, but they weren't too uncomfortable.
They're better than the rough mesh seats in the following Tokyo Station area, haha.
Suddenly, chairs for solo travelers appeared in Tokyo Station!

The iron mesh seats in Tokyo Station seem to be the default, as always.#東京駅 pic.twitter.com/FhBBWxWv8X
Also, there are some interesting shops around this rest area...
There's a Daiso for salarymen, "THE DAISO BIZ Shinjuku Nomura Building Store"!
This is…

I found a Daiso for business people!
The logo looks cool…
It's located on the B1F of Shinjuku Nomura Building. pic.twitter.com/WBRcyD8rX4
*Actually, it's on the B2F of Shinjuku Nomura Building.
The store logo is particularly cool, and they have a wide selection of stationery and snacks for business people.
It might be interesting to visit while you're at the rest area.
Also, if you're looking for a spacious place to eat your lunch nearby, I recommend the "Rest Area at the Public Open Space on the 1st Floor of Shinjuku Nomura Building".
So, why not use it when you want to do remote work in Shinjuku or as a seating area?
