Near the second oldest "Satake Shopping Street" in Japan, which retains the atmosphere of the Showa era, is Take-machi Park!
To get to Take-machi Park, go straight from Exit A2 of Shin-okachimachi Station on the Satake Shopping Street, and it's located after turning right at "Hotei Tokutoku Bento".
You can also walk from Okachimachi or Naka-okachimachi Station, and it's located near "Okachimachi Park".

At the entrance of Take-machi Park, there's a pole-shaped object that looks like bamboo.
Most car stoppers are gate-shaped, but this type is quite innovative!

My first impression of Take-machi Park was, "Wow, it's quite spacious!"
If you have a family with children, it seems like a good spot to let them play in Okachimachi ♪

There are also several cherry trees in the park, giving you the feeling of cherry blossom viewing♪
And, there were benches where you can sit and rest on the road side of the park.

There were many two-seater wooden benches lined up.
It has a slightly retro feel, but it's perfect when you want to take a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of Okachimachi!
Since it has handrails, you can sit down slowly.
I thought of this while writing this article, how about a plan to eat a bento box or snacks purchased at Satake Shopping Street on the benches of Take-machi Park!?

There is a large slide that looks like an octopus.
What I was a little concerned about... If you get stuck in the three-way split slide on the right, it would hurt (lol)

Also, there's a sandbox and mini swings near Okachimachi!
I'm not a city kid, so I'm not familiar with it, but the sandboxes in the 23 wards are fenced in, probably to prevent dog and cat droppings.
You can let your children play with peace of mind♪

There are also public toilets, so you can stay and play in the park for a while♪

It seems like a good place to eat a bento box or take a break in a spacious park in Okachimachi!
I'm giving it ★2 because the benches are a bit old, but it's a good resting space.
So, why not use it as a resting place with seating around Shin-okachimachi Station?
