Along the south exit of the station, you'll find a row of izakayas (Japanese pubs) lining the elevated tracks from Soshigaya-dori street. Right behind them, you'll see Odakyu OX, a familiar supermarket for those in the area.

Benches were lined up on the street in front of a chain izakaya.
The streetlights near the benches have a distinctive shape, don't they? They seem to be designed to resemble the head of Ultraman, fitting for a town that's home to Tsuburaya Productions.

You'll find Coca-Cola benches, which are not often seen in Tokyo these days. Many people seem to use them as a meeting spot in Soshigaya-Okura.

There are also benches with wooden seats.
It felt a little unsettling because there's a bicycle parking area right behind them. It looks like some deliveries from the shops are placed there.
So, why not give these seating areas around Soshigaya-Okura Station a try for a relaxing break?
