Located about a 15-minute walk from Mikazuki Station is the Mikazuki Jinya. It has been re-established there. The lookout tower, which had been moved to another location, has been re-relocated, and other buildings and moats have also been restored.
By the way, a jinya was a residence-style building (a manor house) that a daimyo with an income of about 10,000 to 20,000 koku (a unit of measure for rice) was allowed to build, as they were not permitted to have a castle.
Around May, lupines bloom in front of the jinya, adding color to the area.
