The expansive Kanazawa Castle Park is free to enter, offering a glimpse into the history of the Kaga Domain, also known as the "Million-Koku" domain. You'll find reconstructed turrets and gates within the park.
Please note that during the winter season, the park's hours are shortened, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On weekends, the park is illuminated, and you can enjoy the lights until 9:00 PM.
The lights are set up near the Sanjyu-ken Nagaya, a building that has survived since the Edo period.
Currently, the Sanjyu-ken Nagaya is undergoing roof tile replacement work and is enclosed by a fence.
