There's a space at the corner of the Labor Hall intersection, marked with a stone plaque that reads "The Founding Place of Uwajima Jidosha," and seating is available there.
Uwajima Jidosha is a bus company headquartered in Uwajima City, operating buses mainly in the Nanyo area of Ehime Prefecture.
Although the head office is now located elsewhere, it seems this spot was developed to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the company's founding.
