Takasago City is the birthplace of "Takasago," famous for Noh theater, and due to this connection, it's known as a bridal city.
In front of the station, you'll find a monument of the old man and woman from "Takasago."
At the south exit, there are many simple iron benches and benches surrounding trees.
Since many people are picked up and dropped off by car at this station, these benches are used for quick meet-ups or a short rest.
