To get to the Prudential Tower, you can walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station along Sotobori-dori towards Hie Shrine.
The Prudential Tower is a skyscraper that houses the headquarters of Prudential Life Insurance Company.
Go past the Starbucks next to the tower, and then around to the back of the tower to find the East Residence Plaza, where there are benches to sit and relax.

There are four wooden benches, each seating eight people.
When I discovered this resting spot, I thought it was an oasis in the city.
The wooden benches are surrounded by tall trees, making this a hidden spot with greenery and a sense of openness.
The building serves as a sunshade, and a pleasant breeze comes in from the Italian pizza restaurant side.
By the way, it was a hot day where the sun was shining directly, but it was cool and comfortable here, making it a great place to relax.
As for the crowds, since it's an office area, there are hardly any people on weekends, so you can rest quietly and peacefully.
Therefore, the situation may be different on weekdays.
(If you have visited on a weekday, please let me know in the comments section!)
Also, the good news is that there is a Starbucks nearby.
It's nice to take out a drink and take a break here.
It also seems like a good place to eat a packed lunch around Akasaka Station and Akasaka-mitsuke Station.
By the way, there is the "Kiyo Sakaguchi Memorial Garden" of the former chairman of Prudential Life Insurance on a nearby hill.
There is also a lovely resting place in the garden, so it's fun to take a walk there.

So, why not use it as a place to sit and rest around Akasaka-mitsuke Station?
