From the familiar Kaminarimon gate, through Nakamise-dori shopping street, and past the Hozomon gate, you'll find the Nitenmon gate on your right.
Close to the Itoen rest area, there's a seating area on the way to the Nitenmon gate.

Many wooden benches are set up around the trees.
From the benches, you can easily access the food stalls around the Hozomon gate, making it a great spot to enjoy your purchases.
Also, there are vending machines around the benches, so it's a good idea to stay hydrated if you're visiting in the heat of summer.
Although it tends to be more crowded than the aforementioned rest area, there is a "covered seating area" near the public restrooms on the east side of the precinct, so consider that as well.
So, why not give these areas a try as resting spots around Asakusa Station?
