From Waseda Station, walk along Soseki Sambo Street, and you'll find Soseki Park behind the Soseki Museum.

The statue of Natsume Soseki is a landmark. The park is open until 18:00 during the winter season.
Please refrain from walking your dogs here.

This is the place where Natsume Soseki passed away. Next to it is a museum that recreates a part of his former residence.

It's a quiet park, and it's usually not crowded, so you can relax here.
There is also a multi-purpose toilet in the park.

Stone stools are lined up near the cat's grave.

Although there is no backrest, it's recommended if you want to take a short break.

In front of you is the Soseki Museum.
The house where Soseki lived in his later years is called "Soseki Sambo".

So, why not take advantage of these resting spots around Ushigome-Yanagicho Station?
