Right next to Shibasaki-Taiikukan Station, you'll find Ganigara Square.
It's said that in the past, clear water gushed forth from the base of the Tachikawa cliffs, and many crabs lived there. "Ganigara" is a local dialect word for crab, hence the name.

The square is surrounded by a forest and a stream.
There's a Tarzan swing, a jungle gym, and restrooms.

There are some lovely tables here.
It's perfect for a picnic or if you want to do some remote work near Shibasaki-Taiikukan Station.

It's also nice to just relax and watch the monorail go by.
Nearby, you'll find a stream and the Negawa Ryokudo path, which are great spots for cherry blossom viewing and playing in the water.
