The opening hours for the French Hill area vary depending on the season. From April to September, it's open from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. In December and January, it's open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For the rest of the year, it's open from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The French Hill area is said to be named after the French military who were stationed there during the late Edo and Meiji periods.
