There are benches around the Western-style houses in the Yamate area of Yokohama, including the Ehrismann Residence.

This is the Ehrismann Residence. It was the residence of Mr. Fritz Ehrismann, who was active as the manager of a raw silk trading company.
It is said that the Western-style house was influenced by the world-renowned architect, Mr. Wright. You can tour the inside of the building for free.

There were two two-seater benches nearby.

There is also a two-seater table in front of the Ehrismann Residence.

It was a luxurious spot where you could take a break while admiring the Ehrismann Residence.
Also, the benches at the nearby Berrick Hall are also recommended.

So, why not use these spots as places to take a break around Motomachi-Chukagai Station?
