“The Wonderful Chairs in the Underground Passage”
At Igigikita Underground Passage, which connects north and south under the Seibu Shinjuku Line at Igigiekimae Station, there is a beautiful space. It runs along Kanpachi-dori.

There are four chairs near the stairs.

The chairs are wonderful, matching the color of the pillars.

The handrails serve as backrests, giving an artistic feel. It's nice how the pedestrian and vehicle traffic are subtly separated here.
It gives a nice atmosphere to the underground passage, which tends to be drab.
So, why not use these chairs as a place to take a break around Igigiekimae Station?
