"Marusho Stool"
If you walk a bit from Akebonobashi Station towards Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden along Yasukuni-dori Avenue, you'll find the Dai-kon-to.

This is where Marusho was founded. In the back, you can see the bust of Mr. Shohei Iizuka and his wife.
It seems that there used to be 100 Marusho supermarkets in Tokyo and Kanagawa, but now there are only two.

There are seven Marusho stools.

The engraving is cool.

Information about Marusho is written here.

Takuan stone.
So, why not use this area as a resting spot with seating around Akebonobashi Station?
