"Art, Benches, and More"
A short walk from the north exit of Tachikawa Station towards Showa Kinen Park brings you to Plaza City, a UR housing complex.

This is the public art known as the Happy Tree.

There are two stone benches in the planting area at the back. The surfaces are smooth and shiny!

They say they were made by carving stones from a garden that used to be here! by UR

The Happy Tree has a mysterious feel. You can peek at the cityscape through its skeleton-like structure.

This is public art called "The Laying Person."
There was a similar bench nearby.
There's also a park right next to it.
So, why not use these as resting spots near Tachikawa North Station?
