"Near Nijo Castle"
There's the Horikawa River in front of Nijo Castle.

The Horikawa River is beautifully maintained, and you can enjoy river walking along its banks. It's also known as Nijo-bori.

There are many bridges like this.
This time, it's between Nijo Bridge and Ebisugawa Bridge.

If you look closely, there are benches lined up!

They are wooden benches that can seat three people.

A river bench where you can see the top of Nijo Castle.

Nijo Castle was crowded with tourists, but there was no one here...
It might be a hidden gem.
There are benches in front of Nijo Castle, too.

So, why not use them as a resting spot around Nijo-jo-mae Station?
