"Amazingly Close to the Station"
A short walk from the pedestrian deck at the Nerima Station North Exit will take you to Heisei Tsutsuji Park.
A grassy park extends from the side of the station deck.
It's located near the Nerima Culture Center.
The entrance to the park looks like a European-style temple.
Relax on the retro Nerima benches.
As the name suggests, Tsutsuji Park is filled with azaleas in full bloom.
Around Golden Week, about 40 different types of azaleas, donated to Nerima Ward from Kurume City, reach their peak.
It's amazing considering it's so close to a major terminal station.
Benches are placed here and there along the walking paths.
It's hard to believe it's only a 1-minute walk from the station within the 23 wards, with so much greenery and a pleasant environment.
I really like these side-by-side benches.
They seem perfect for enjoying a packed lunch or a date near Nerima Station.
