"Monument and Waterside"
Komazawa Olympic Park is located along Jiyu-dori, a short walk from Komazawa-daigaku Station.

The Olympic Monument stands in the center of Komazawa Olympic Park.
This is the Central Plaza, where several stone benches are placed.
It's surprisingly hard to see the monument from the outside because it's surrounded by trees.

The Olympic Monument boasts an impressive height of 50 meters.
This park was the second venue for the 1961 Tokyo Olympics. Actually, broadcasting and electrical equipment were installed inside the tower, and the tower was built to control the traffic of visitors. It still functions today.

Benches by the water.
The Central Plaza has no shade, so it might be harsh in the summer.

I came to the opposite side of the water.
In the back, you can see the indoor gymnasium across the pedestrian bridge.

There are also benches on the gravel near the Olympic Tower.
Personally, I found this area more relaxing.
The autumn leaves are beautiful when the trees change color.

You can also see the athletic field from the benches.
It might be nice if you want to zone out.
So, why not try these places as rest areas near Komazawa-daigaku Station?
