Ebisu Garden Place, which opened on the site of the Sapporo Beer factory, is a stylish complex of shops, offices, residences, and a museum, and is a popular spot for many fashionable women.
To get to Ebisu Garden Place, exit the JR Ebisu Station East Exit ticket gate, go to the right, and follow the Ebisu Skywalk, a moving walkway. You'll find it along the way. (※There are benches on the Skywalk as well)
There are also signboards, so you should be able to access it without getting lost!
Below is a map of the Garden Place area.

Garden Place is quite spacious!
This time, we will take a look at the seating rest area in the center square, located "between A and G" on the map.

This is the view of the center square!
The center square is located along the way to Mitsukoshi, going down from the entrance of Garden Place.
"By the way, what is the artificial turf area on the left side?"
From July 14th to August 26th, 2018, the YEBISU GARDEN PICNIC, an event featuring outdoor movie screenings, was held, making it a great place for a picnic.
You can buy beer and snacks at the stalls in the facility, and enjoy the summer night while relaxing on this artificial turf!
The movie tickets are free! The movie selection is quite good, and you can enjoy the movies for free.
I remember watching a movie there about 5 years ago, so it has become an annual event.
If you're interested, let's check the movie screening schedule at the " Picnic Garden Official".

There were stone benches where you can sit and rest around the plantings in the square.
I thought the plantings would provide shade, but it didn't seem to be the case.

The seating comfort is about as expected, and you can use them when you want to take a short break.
There are ball-shaped lights on the left and right sides of the benches, so it might look a little stylish at night!

If you go up the stairs from the center square, you will see this kind of scenery and benches.
There were 8 wooden benches for two people, but the number of seats varies depending on the event, so please take it as a reference.

It seems that various artworks were applied to the benches.
It seems to be the 20th-anniversary celebration of Garden Place!
This bench seems to have a hat as its theme, and maybe it is the work of local students!
Also, I forgot to mention something important, but the entire center square is covered with a roof!
Therefore, it's okay even in the rain, and I think it has a UV effect, so you can rest more comfortably than being completely outdoors.
In addition, it seems that you can use free Wi-Fi for 60 minutes up to 3 times a day, so be sure to check it out!

By the way, the castle-like building at the back of the center square, "Benches around Joel Robuchon at Ebisu Garden Place", is also highly recommended, so be sure to check it out!
If you want to use a table seat with your children, check "Garden Place Tower B2F near Prime Rib"!
So, why not use it as a seating rest area around Ebisu?
