If you walk from Fuchu Station towards Koshu Kaido and then towards Nikko-cho, where K's Denki and Shimachu are located, you'll find the Shimogawara Greenway.

This was once a line that connected Kokubunji to the Tama River to transport gravel from the Tama River.
Currently, the abandoned railway tracks have been developed as a greenway.

It's a great spot for railway enthusiasts, with platforms, station buildings, and wheel stops.

And there are benches where you can take a break while looking at the abandoned railway tracks.
That's pretty rare, isn't it?

If you go towards Fuchu Honmachi, there's a railway junction (remains of a signal), making it a fun spot for a walk.
Also, I've uploaded a video of my visit on YouTube, so I think you'll get a sense of the atmosphere right away.
So, why not use it as a resting place around Fuchu Station?
