Futako Tamagawa Rise is a large shopping mall that surrounds Futako-Tamagawa Station, with facilities extending from the front of the station ticket gates along the Tama River.
Each area has a name: "Shopping Center, Dogwood Plaza, Oak Mall, Birds Mall, and Plaza Mall."
And, the "Futako Tamagawa Rise Galleria," located near Futako-Tamagawa Station, which we will introduce this time, has places where you can sit and take a break.

Many stone benches for four or eight people are installed.
This is an area with a glass ceiling, located between the Town Front and River Front of Futako Tamagawa Rise.
Therefore, the point is that it can be used even on rainy days because it's semi-indoor.
When the manager, Pen-ta, investigated, it was the rainy season, and although it was raining, many people were using the area as shown in the photos.
The Galleria at Futako Tamagawa Rise seems to be often used as an event space.
Perhaps because it was a time when people were excited about the victory of the World Cup against Colombia, it was a special venue related to soccer.
As for the atmosphere of the rest area, the benches are spaced widely apart, and you can take a break without feeling cramped, despite the high traffic.
As for the users, there were few young people, and it seemed that there were many people in their 30s and 40s. That's typical of Futako-Tamagawa.

Around the benches, there were some protruding objects, perhaps public art.
With the glass ceiling, concrete, and stone benches, you can feel a sense of advanced imagery.
Let's take a closer look at the benches.

These are circular benches for eight people, lined up in front of Chopped Salad Days.
The surface has a smooth finish, and my butt slipped a little, haha!
Perhaps to eliminate the inorganic feel, planting was provided in the center of the benches.
It might be just right because Chopped Salad Days has a woody feel!?
So, why not try using this as a rest area where you can sit in Futako-Tamagawa?
