Takaban Children's Park is a small park located on a corner along the East Exit Shopping Street of Gakugei-daigaku Station.
It seems that it was named "Takaban" because there used to be a guardhouse nearby, and the falconry guards lived there.
Now, to get to Takaban Children's Park, go straight along the East Exit Shopping Street and you'll see it past Doutor and 7-Eleven.

Here's a statue and relief at Meguro Ward Takaban Children's Park.
It's surrounded by greenery, and there are also tall trees.

This is the exterior of Takaban Children's Park as seen from the entrance. A slide is installed as playground equipment.
It seems to be a place of relaxation for the elderly, even though it's small.
Unfortunately, there were no users during the survey because it was raining.

And, there was a bench in front of the flower bed where about five people could sit.
You can hold onto the handrail and take a break by slowly sitting down.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be very clean...

Two single chairs were placed in the shade of the tall trees.
It's just enough for a short break while strolling along the Gakugei-daigaku shopping street.
Even so, pigeons are really hated, aren't they...
No pigeons were seen during the survey.

There is only one Japanese-style toilet for both men and women. It's better than nothing...
There is also a water fountain nearby.
I walked around Gakugei-daigaku Station for about an hour looking for benches, but there aren't many places to take a break.
(Hibunyakoen Park is a bit scary, so I didn't investigate it)
So, it's a valuable rest spot in the Gakugei-daigaku East Exit area.
So, why not use it as a place to sit and rest in Gakugei-daigaku?
