There it is! The towering Act Tower. It's a symbol of Hamamatsu.

There's a rest area where you can gaze up at the Act Tower.
On the 2nd floor of the area where the Act Tower is located, there's an exterior staircase around the perimeter. Follow the stairs to reach it.

It feels like something I've seen in some European country... Pillars arranged in a circle. You can enjoy that kind of scenery.

For benches where you can sit and rest, check these out! They're near the greenery.

The seats are made of stone and have no bumps, so it was a comfortable place to sit. Other benches in Act City were tiled...
Drains are provided, so it doesn't seem like the ground will be bad after it rains.
This rest area has other interesting spots as well...

It's an impressive Tokaido Shinkansen viewing spot! I waited for just the right moment in the blazing sun, haha.
If you have kids who love trains, they'll definitely be happy! (I was happy too, haha)

The exterior of Hamamatsu Station is as you see it!
It might be a bit of a trek to get to this rest area, but I recommend it!
So, why not try using this spot as a place to rest around Hamamatsu Station?
