The Shiodome Building is a high-rise building with a restaurant area called Hamasite on the 1st and 2nd floors.
It is located in front of the Kyu-Shiba Rikyu Gardens, and is adjacent to the Shiodome Shiba Rikyu Building.
To get to the Shiodome Building, exit the north exit of Hamamatsucho Station, turn right onto the main street leading to Zojoji Temple, and walk a little towards Takeshiba.
And, there was a place near the "Kaigan 1-chome" bus stop on the Shuto Expressway side of the Shiodome Building's exterior where you could sit and take a break. (If you're not sure, please use the map or route search at the bottom of the page.)

There were 7 sets of three-seater benches in a brick style.
As for the environment of the resting place, there were planted trees despite being in a concrete jungle, and it was well maintained.
The sidewalk is designed to be wide, and there is plenty of space for the resting area, so you can take a break at your leisure.

It's a rather unusual type of integrated bench, isn't it?
The armrests act as partitions, so you can ensure your privacy and take a break without worrying about the person next to you, which was nice.
By the way, in front of the bench, there is Kaigan-dori and the Shuto Expressway (C1: Inner Circular Route), and there are also parts under construction, so you can't expect much of a view. Also, the Hamazakibashi JCT on the Shuto Expressway, which can be a bit nerve-wracking, is nearby.

At the end of this bench, on the Yurikamome track side, there is a circular bench that can seat 9 people.
I didn't look closely at the time of the survey, but I wonder what the container of Hamasite Gourmet in front is...?

When you turn the corner from the circular bench and proceed to the JR line side, you'll discover a kind of oasis-like resting place!
There were 12 single-seater stone benches.
When I visited around noon in the summer, this resting spot was shaded by the building, so I was able to take a break while avoiding direct sunlight.
By the way, what makes it an oasis?

Please take a look at this photo!
There is a glass object that looks like a waterfall, and you can take a break while feeling a little bit of negative ions.
Since there are the Shuto Expressway and Kaigan-dori, you might think the air is bad, but personally, it wasn't that bad.
It can also be used as a place to eat your lunch from Hamamatsucho, and it was a perfect spot to take a break!
It's also good for a break during a tour of the Kyu-Shiba Rikyu Gardens or a date walk in Hamamatsucho.
So, why not try it out as a resting place with benches around Hamamatsucho?
