Introducing the rest area "Ikebukuro Station | Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store B1F Rest Spot in Front of the Light Clock" at 池袋駅徒歩1分.
[singlefront]
On the B1F of Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store, there's a monument called the "Clock of Light."
There are benches nearby, making it a convenient meeting spot in Ikebukuro!
To get to the Seibu Main Store, where the Clock of Light is located, you can access it from the underground passage that connects the JR, subway, and Seibu lines after exiting the ticket gates of each line.
Head towards the east exit, and follow the upward right arrow on the sign that says "Seibu Ikebukuro Line"!
Then, you'll see the entrance to the Seibu Main Store along with a sign that says "Seibu Ikebukuro Line Ikebukuro Station."
You're almost there!
You can catch a glimpse of the Clock of Light! Let's enter the Seibu Main Store.
The futuristic monument was telling the time! It's cool with digital art.
If you're accessing it from inside the Seibu building, it's located near the center of block 8 on the B1F Seibu Food Hall (on the side of the side dish market).
And, there's a place to sit and take a break on the stairs next to the monument.
There were single chairs and benches that can accommodate about 13 people.
Perhaps because it's a popular meeting spot in Ikebukuro, second only to the "Ikefukurou" (the owl statue), it's always crowded.
However, people don't stay for long, and the turnover is quick, so you can usually find a seat after a short wait.
As for the resting environment, there isn't much private space, so it seems like a place to just take a quick rest.
But since it's directly accessible from the Ikebukuro Station underground shopping area, it's highly convenient as a meeting spot.
Also, free Wi-Fi is available within the Seibu building!
Please refer to the in-store guide pamphlet for the password.
So, this is a new resting spot that can be called a new landmark for meeting up in Ikebukuro!
Why not use it as a place to rest in Ikebukuro while shopping at Ikebukuro Seibu?
