To get to Sunshine City, take the JR or subway to Ikebukuro Station and head towards the east exit.
From the east exit, cross the intersection and go straight along Sunshine Street, with Tokyu Hands on your side, and you'll arrive at the ground entrance of Sunshine City.
And, there was a place to sit and take a break in front of "GLOCAL CAFE" near the entrance on the 1st floor of Sunshine City.

Benches that can seat about 20 people were installed.
Previously, it was an empty space with a brick-like design, but it seems to have been recently renovated, with benches and arched objects arranged.
Therefore, the benches are relatively clean because they are new.
This is a convenient resting spot to remember when you want to meet someone or have a quick bite in Ikebukuro.
In terms of the environment, it's near the entrance, so there are many people passing by, going back and forth between Animate and Sunshine City.
However, there is a wide space in front of the benches, so I was able to take a break without being bothered by it.
However, the ends of the benches are pathways for people, so you may not be able to relax depending on where you sit.
If you want to take a break, we recommend "Sunshine 4F Rooftop Garden" or the indoor "Sunshine Fountain Plaza 1F, 2F, and 3F resting areas"!
So, why not use this as a resting place to sit down in the Ikebukuro area while you're shopping at Sunshine?
