To get to Atagawa Beach, take the Izu Kyuko Line to Izu-Atagawa Station, and then exit the station towards Atagawa Onsen. From there, you'll descend a steep slope through the hot spring town.
And, near "Hotel Setas Royal" and "Atagawa Grand Hotel" on Atagawa Beach, there are places where you can sit and take a break.

There are many two-seater benches set up along the breakwater.
The view of the sea that spreads out before you is wonderful, and these benches are perfect for a relaxing break.
Strolling along the beach is also fun, and it's a great spot for a date with your partner.
As for the congestion situation, when I visited during Golden Week, there were no users.
I suspect it will be crowded in the summer due to swimming.
(If anyone knows the congestion situation in summer, please let me know!)
In addition, there is a foot bath called "Atagawa Hot Park" nearby, with a relaxed name.
It is closed at night, but you can enjoy a foot bath while gazing at the sea.
Atagawa Onsen is a bit desolate, but that's what's nice about it. You can relax because it's not crowded.
There is also one point to keep in mind about this resting place.
In fact, when you sit on this bench, the sea is behind you, and in front of you is a view of the hotel and the parking lot...
Therefore, it's better to stand up after taking a break on the bench to enjoy the view! (lol)
Also, please visit the power spot "Oyu-kake Benzaiten Bench" nearby!
So, why not use it as a place to take a break at Izu-Atagawa Station?
