The Karuizawa Tourist Information Center is located in Karuizawa Ginza, in the old Karuizawa area.
Inside the tourist information center, there is a rest space.
You can eat takeout food here, making it perfect for a break in old Karuizawa.
With large windows, I could take a breather in the bright space.
Also, the Kusakaru Railway exhibition on the second floor is highly recommended for train enthusiasts. There are exhibits on the Abt rack railway mechanism for crossing mountain passes and dioramas. And it's free.
So, why not use this spot as a place to take a break around Karuizawa Station?
