From Kinshicho Station, towards Kameido, near the Koto Ward Kameido Baseball Field, there's a canal called Yokojikken River.
By the way, the name Yokojikken River comes from the fact that the canal runs alongside Edo Castle, and its width was ten ken (a unit of length in the old Japanese system)!
Now, between the Yokojikken River and Tenjin Bridge on Kuramae-bashi Street, there's a relaxing rest area where you can take a breather.

Along the Yokojikken River, there are stone stools that can accommodate about 10 people.
But they're not just ordinary stools... it's also a spot where you can enjoy the view of the Skytree ♪

Near the rest area, there's the "Kameido Zeniza Site."
Until the 6th year of the Meiji era, there was a copper coin manufacturing plant here, engraved with the Kanei Tsūhō coin!
Because the shogunate's mint was located here, this area was called Kameido Ginza.
So, why not use this as a relaxing rest area around Kinshicho Station?
