“Nostalgic Shinagawa”

This is Shinagawaura, near the Kitashinagawa Bridge, which was once a producer of nori seaweed.

You can also relax on a bench while watching fishing boats and yakatabune (houseboats).

There were 14 single benches lined up.

On the back of the bench is a canal with boats.

The peeling paint has a nice feel to it.
