"A Park, or Rather, a Plaza"
There's a civic park near the west exit of Komatsu Station.

The approach to the civic park.

Is that the statue of Yujin, Kanjocho? It seems that "Chi" represents Benkei's wisdom, "Jin" represents Togashi's compassion, and "Yu" represents Yoshitsune's courage.

And there are benches along the approach as well.

There were also benches near the murals in the civic park. This might be a good place to eat your lunch near Komatsu Station.
So, why not consider using these spots as rest areas around Komatsu Station?
